Tell us a bit about your role
I’m the director of the North East arm of MIMO. I’m currently leading the expansion of MIMO into the Tyne, Wear & Tees corridor, I’m responsible for delivering projects and looking after our clients in the not so ‘Grim North.’
What’s been your journey with MIMO?
Mike asked me to come on board as an Estimator in Jan 2021 because the business was growing rapidly. It’s a testament to the quality of work that MIMO produces, to go from strength to strength and grow during a global pandemic and a period of such uncertainty. Our clients obviously had a huge amount of faith in us to deliver.
Since then, we haven’t stopped moving and I’m excited to be working on further expansion and growth for the business.
What’s it like to work at MIMO?
Fast paced but lots of fun. We’re a relatively small team and all get along well. There’s plenty of laughing & joking, this really helps the camaraderie when we need to pull together and deliver projects on time.
What does collaborative consulting mean to you?
An open dialogue between us as a team and our clients. We’re sure to take our time to build great relationships so that issues can be resolved swiftly and projects delivered as intended. Our clients know what to expect when they work with us, and that’s a two-way street of information sharing, openness, and trust.
Outside of work, what are your interests and hobbies?
I’m a bit of a foodie, so I like to cook and bake. But that means I also need to make sure I keep the weight off, so I’m a member at my local squash club. I’m also a fair-weather golfer, unfortunately living up north means I don’t get many opportunities to play.
